Routine Test & Inspections
We can provide routine testing for:-
  • Automatic Fire Alarm & Detection Systems BS5839: Part 1: 2002
  • Emergency and Standby Lighting Systems BS5266: Part 1: 2005 Part 8:2004
  • Fixed & Portable Fire Fighting Equipment BS5306: Part 3: 2000
Preventative Maintenance
The reason for regular test and inspections is to ensure that when required the systems installed work correctly. This involves carrying out operational tests, and anticipating problems due to age, condition and design. Our past experience shows that 'preventative maintenance' reduces false alarms and missed alarms on fire alarm systems, prevents failure to operate correctly on fire extinguishers and ensures adequate and reliable emergency lighting.

Audited Paperwork and Asset Databases
To save you time and money, we provide comprehensive certification following each group of inspections, collated, audited and presented in a A4 ring binder. We also hold detailed activity records and an equipment database for each individual site we regularly inspect. These are held in our 'Site Management Software' for fast and easy retrieval by our support staff.

Personal Service
In order to maintain consistency of advice and to develop knowledge of your systems we endeavour to ensure that you get the same technician every time. Our Service manager prefers to visit your office on a regular basis to discuss and resolve any concerns or problems.
Emergency Response
Communications
What ever time you call you only need one number, (01942) 208101 and you will always get through to a member of our staff. To ensure that you get the right advice we train our telephone receptionists to interpret your requirements and direct your call to the correct person first time. With emergency and out of normal hour's calls, we have found it more efficient to direct the call straight to the on call engineers (and not via an answering service.) This drastically cuts down the time and costs required to resolve a problem!! As we always have more than one person on call at any one time, the call will `hunt' until answered ensuring that you speak to a experienced technician without fail.

Response Times
We understand that not all problems require an immediate response. So to ensure that when they do, a qualified technician will immediately take your call. We guarantee to provide an immediate telephone response, followed by an engineer on site within 4 Hours, when really necessary, or within 24 hours for all non urgent problems.

Technical Support
With any specialised equipment or system, comprehensive technical support is essential. We are available to provide telephone or on-site support, 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. We hold extensive technical libraries covering all types of fire alarm and emergency lighting equipment. All our technicians have a minimum of City & Guilds type qualification. As from the beginning of 2001 we have started transferring all our datasheets to our web site along with other useful information and links.
